Richard (Dick) Stier
Dick Stier, President, became interested in housing design and construction from age 12 when he began working in his father’s cabinet and lumber business. After college at Oakland University, Rochester, MI, and serving as a combat artillery Officer in the US Marine Corps, he joined his father in a home building firm near Pontiac, MI. In 1969 Dick moved his family to Clearwater, Florida, and joined the Rutenberg Homes Division of US Home Corp. Dick rose to the Top Housing Division President in US Home, then the largest home builder in the country. In 1995 Dick joined Arthur Rutenberg Homes corporate staff, and then as a Building Company Executive the Orlando area. In 1998 American Home Corp. was activated to build Custom Homes and Custom Remodeling projects. The firm has grown and now includes five family members. Dick has been married for forty eight years to Barbara, has three children, six grandchildren, and is a Florida Certified Building Contractor and Registered Real Estate Broker.

Scott Stier has been Construction Manager since the forming of American Home Corp. Scott has been building homes for 20 years. He graduated from Clemson University, SC. Scott began his career at US Home Corp as a Construction Manager in the Retirement Division. He was awarded the national title of “US Home Superintendent of the Year” for building more homes with zero defects than any other supervisor. During the following two years he was the runner-up US Home “Top Service Department Manager” while in the Retirement Division. Scott is a Florida Certified Building Contractor and a registered Real Estate Salesperson. Scott is married, has two children and participates in the United States Masters Swimming program. He specializes in the Breaststroke events.
Andrea Lyons
Andrea Lyons has been the Office Manager for American Home Corp since its inception. She is very organized and has multi-tasked in all aspects of the firm’s business. Andrea has a BA from Louisiana State University and is a registered Florida Real Estate Salesperson. Prior to joining American Home Corp., Andrea worked as the Office Manager for a custom home builder and RE/MAX Real Estate Broker in Montgomery, Alabama. She is married and has two children in college. Andrea is also a licensed Skydiver, with over 550 jumps to date. Andrea is a moderator on an internet forum for Skydivers and is known internationally.
Barbara Stier, Design Manager, has been involved in designing and decorating model homes and customer homes for over forty years. She has a unique talent for coordinating colors and textures to maximum effect. She assists American Home customers with color selections that coordinate with their furnishings. Barbara was a Sales Consultant of Arthur Rutenberg Homes for ten years, and was a Top Club winner eight times. She also was a Brentwood Custom Homes Sales Consultant for four years and was named “Employee of the Year”. She is a registered Florida Real Estate Salesperson. Barbara is very involved with her grandchildren and receives text messages from them regularly. When the family lived in Sarasota, Florida, she was a tournament level doubles tennis player, achieving a “4.5” ranking.
Graham Miller
Graham Miller, Construction Manager, has been with American Home Corp. for two years. He was with Brentwood Custom Homes, and built the Arthur Rutenberg Homes plans for ten years. He was named to the prestigious Arthur Rutenberg Homes ‘Super Club’ five times, which is awarded to the top ten percent of the construction managers state-wide. He was also named the Brentwood “Employee of the Year”, and “Construction Manager” of the year. Graham graduated from Louisiana State University, and is a Certified Florida Building Contractor. Graham is married and has 4 children who keep him very busy with their activities. Graham enjoys cooking new recipes with different spices, especially Cajun cuisine.
