Overview
Quality Construction All Builders say "Quality", but an American Home is superior because it also includes materials and methods which reduce maintenance and lower operating costs and headaches. Two examples are: our plywood roof sheathing has an aluminum radiant barrier which keeps the attic much cooler, and reduces your electric bill (you can actually store candles in the attic!). Also, the grade of Sherwin Williams paint we use will let you wash fingerprints off the walls, and the outside paint will last many years longer than typical. Ask, and we'll give you a thorough list of our specifications, that will impress your engineer brother. Thinking There are many good builders of houses. But we are a professional home builder. The difference is in the planning and building of a home that has built-in, thought-out details which make your life easier and more relaxing. In the Kitchen, not only will it look great, but you will have a trash bin next to the sink; pan drawers which load from the top and are easy to get into; pantry space with lighting and an electric outlet for the portable vacuum; overhead lighting so you can see the countertop without shadows; and, your dishwasher will be positioned so its easier to unload. In the Garage, your walls will be finished, and the floor surface won't peel off quickly. Also in the Garage, there will be plumbing for a future water filter, if desired. In the Family Room, you will have ceiling lights where you need them so you can read a newspaper more easily. Your Master Bath will have a place for a television, so getting ready will be a little less tedious. We know that the details make all the difference.
